“You complete me.” This is a very interesting phrase because you and I depend on each other as our interdependency grows. “A man shall leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery…” Yet every couple struggles with it every day.
“Do you and I have what it takes” to make our relationship work? This only time and effort can answer. As long as both of us believe in each other, there is a chance. But discerning our compatibility may be a long and arduous road. It often suffers the “slings and arrows of outrageous fortune” along the way.
Eventually both you and I have to become a “we,” and start planning a life together; or start looking elsewhere.
